Brother Drum DR 2450 2401

The Orink Brother Drum DR 2450 2401 unit has OEM numbers DR2450, DR2401, DR2425 and DR2400. It is a compatible drum unit, not a toner unit

The compatible drum unit facilitates the transfer of toner powder onto paper and does not contain toner. The drum is a frame with a photosensitive roller, usually green or blue. It uses an electrostatic charge to “capture” powder from the toner cartridge and transfer it onto paper. It is physically empty, with no powder. It serves as a transport medium for the stored powder contained in the toner cartridge

It is much more durable than a toner cartridge and needs to be replaced only once for every 3–4 toner replacements after refilling the toner (approximately every 12,000 pages). So, to print, you need to insert the toner cartridge into the drum unit by physically pressing it in. The two will click together into one assembly, which you then insert into your printer

The compatible unit is a less expensive replacement for the original Brother drum unit and is therefore a more economical option. It has an excellent yield of 12,000 pages, making it a good choice for high-volume printing and reducing the need for replacement
